Every love story is unique. My role is to know yours so well that, on the day, your ceremony feels like it could only ever belong to the two of you.

Based in Balmain, I've officiated at weddings everywhere from the harbour headlands to the Southern Highlands and beyond. Wherever your celebration takes place, your ceremony will be warm, inclusive, and written especially for you.

My story

Why I became a celebrant

I became a celebrant because I love people and I love a good love story. After years of speaking in front of audiences as a tour guide, I found a place where warmth, words and a sense of occasion all come together ~ and I've never looked back.

As a full-time Civil Marriage Celebrant, I take care of everything legal ~ the Notice of Intended Marriage, the Declaration of No Legal Impediment, the Ceremonial Marriage Certificate, and the registration ~ so you can focus on the fun parts. My planning folder, with over 60 vow options, 150 readings, and ceremony ideas, means you'll never be staring at a blank page.

Most of all, I promise a ceremony that sounds like you: your words, your humour, your people ~ and a celebrant who feels like a friend by the time you say, "I do".

Beyond the ceremony

When I'm not marrying people…

You'll find me around Balmain walking the harbour foreshore, hunting down a good coffee, and quietly collecting readings, poems and vow ideas for the couples I haven't met yet.

I'm also a children's book author. My story began years ago on a beautiful old red typewriter writing bush poetry. Bespoke wedding ceremonies continue to feed that same creative spark.

I also love to draw and paint in my sandstone basement studio, with music playing in the background, I lose myself in creating abstract, whimsical contemporary art. My work has been exhibited in both Lindfield and Balmain.
